Weekly Update 2.28-3.4

Exciting updates are happening at the Five Farms construction site.

We were able to get a sneak peek of the Rooftop Terrace, where they built the chimney up and framed the eventual stairwell for access to the area. The construction crew has installed the storm drainage pipe—the last of the three lines that needed to be replaced. In the Foyer & Golfer’s Entry, they have continued the exterior framing and filled the hole in the front with dirt for a level walking surface. The Outdoor Patio is now ready for concrete installation, and the construction crew has poured and smoothed the concrete in the Main Grille Dining area. The clubhouse interior is framed and installed with electrical and ductwork, and archways have been placed between the different rooms for an elegant and open feel.

Finally, with assistance from Wetland Studies and Ecotech, crews were able to use air excavation to protect the roots of our iconic Elm trees since the concrete will soon be poured in the areas in front of the Main Grille Dining area and Outdoor Patio. They have already started to pour concrete in front of the East Terrace Room after they went through the process of protecting the roots.
